My only critique would be the paws; when lining the picture maybe you could draw the lines on the claw so that it would come halfway through the toe, instead of continuing to the bottom of the foot. This would still create the effect of the claw bending upwards.
Just a suggestion, but apart from that this picture is a great reference

You should put a little colour guide at the side.
Aww, I liked your eye style ): I guess it's more simple and easier to draw this style though.
I love his expression also ^^
The only thing I have to say is about the closest ear. It seems a little big to me, I dunno though.
